A little history about this area that inspired this print.- The area known as Natchez Under-the-Hill, is in Mississippi and was a rough and tumble town in the 1800s-  this area of Natchez was described by numerous nineteenth-century travelers as one of the rowdiest ports on the Mississippi ..The old saloon that was in operation in the 1800's is still in operation there today and is full of nostalgic photos of the town from yester year.
